When our growth strategies and the resulting impact become our measure of success rather than making fully devoted followers of Jesus, we make cultural Christians who consume rather than Biblical disciples who reproduce and make disciples.  We grow numerically, but we don’t multiply and send disciples.  We neuter the very mechanism for multiplication that Jesus embedded in our DNA. It’s time to rethink our definition of healthy growth.  In this new message we will discover that there are five kinds of churches and that God is calling our church to become a level five church.

This resource, based on the book by the same title (download here) is a three-part message series that looks at the motive for church planting.  Ideal for educating your local church on why we should be church planting.

Part One: Recapturing the Vision

Jesus Christ called His church to make disciples.  It’s their purpose, their mission.  It’s the reason He created the church.  In the first part of the series, Pastor Tim Madding reveals that a church focused on its mission of making disciples is one that is intentional about creating other churches where more discipleship can take place.
